Logatrade is a personal trading journal and risk management tool operated by Demi De Saint Ouen, 45 Warren St, London W1T 6AG. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

We take your privacy seriously. This is written in plain English so you understand exactly what happens with your data.

When you use Logatrade, we collect:

• Account information: Email address and name for authentication
• Trading data: Trade entries, P&L records, notes, emotional tags, and setup types
• Settings and preferences: Currency, account balance, dashboard layout, timezone
• Usage data: Anonymised analytics to improve the product

We do NOT collect: Government IDs, payment card details, broker login credentials, or any data beyond what is strictly required for the app to function.

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Display your trading history and performance analytics
• Calculate position sizes and risk metrics
• Store your preferences and settings
• Send essential account notifications where applicable
• Improve the app based on anonymised usage patterns

We do NOT: Sell your data, use it for advertising, share it with third parties for marketing, or track you across other websites.

We process your data on the following legal bases:

• Contract: Processing necessary to provide the service
• Legitimate interests: Anonymised analytics to improve app performance
• Legal obligation: Where required by applicable law

All data is stored on secure servers using industry-standard encryption, encrypted both in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.

We do not access your trading journal or financial records except where explicitly required for technical support and only with your prior permission.

Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active. Upon account deletion, all associated personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

We may retain anonymised aggregated data for analytical purposes which cannot be linked back to you personally.

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your data
• Rectification: Correct inaccurate data
• Erasure: Request permanent deletion
• Portability: Download your data
• Objection: Object to unnecessary processing
• Complaint: Lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk

We use essential cookies solely to maintain your login session and app preferences. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or cross-site tracking.

Any analytics data collected is anonymised and used only to improve the app.

We share data only with essential service providers including our hosting provider, authentication service, and payment processor where applicable.

All providers are bound by strict data protection agreements and cannot use your data for their own purposes.

If we make material changes we will notify you by email or in-app notification at least 30 days before changes take effect.

Continued use of Logatrade following notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
